  Google "Things to do in Queenstown" and most of the top results will display the quintessential Queenstown eatery - Fergburger. Strolling by the small restaurant over three days in Queenstown and seeing the almost constant massive line, I decided to take the plunge and give it a shot.
  
  With some sort of luck two friends and I arrived around 9:00pm on a Friday night with no line ahead of us. We were served quickly by a not overly friendly nor unfriendly cashier who decided to talk to someone out the window beside her for the remainder of our meeting after she handed us the EFTPOS machine. After placing it back down in front of her while she spoke, she regarded us again and told us our number before continuing. To the point, I suppose.
  
  The food was served very quickly by the many staff members running about the small area behind the counter. Unfortunately the fries weren't anything special, and tasted as though they were cooked 20 minutes prior. I ordered the Southern Swine which was good. Unfortunately for the hype this place gets, I really expected better then good.
  
  For such a well-known and clearly well-regarded restaurant at the heart of Queenstown, I really expected more. The food itself was a solid 3.5 / 5 but I have to round down in this case just because of the expectations I'd formed before even stepping in the door - which unfortunately fell short of what was served.
  
  On the plus side the serving was large and definitely worth the price. They didn't cheap put on avocado either, and the overall vibe in the crowded restaurant was good.
  
  Definitely a good place for well-priced late-night eats on the way from the bar, but I'm confused why it has such a great rating everywhere. I don't regret giving it a shot though and maybe will try again next time in Queenstown and re-review!
