  The hotel is very winter lodge in its decor and it's done well mostly. However whilst a lot of the and it amenities were 5 star there was an element of faulty towers about it at times. Confused staff, weird variances in the quality of the decor. The wheel in air con units are very strange given the overall upscale approach.
  
  The hotel seems to be exclusively staffed by sub 24 year olds which goes with the backpacker appeal of the town however failed to see a manager or someone who appeared to have continuity and this is felt both in the service and the consistency of their approach.
  
  Overall would easily recommend but if it was a 50/50 call with somewhere else, perhaps read review on that.
  
  P.s. book a lake view room unless you like looking at a poured concrete wall or road.
