  Right opposite the beautiful Wakatipu lake, Queenstown Lakefront Backpackers is by far one of my most favourite YAH Hostels I stayed at during my solo trip to New Zealand. The stayed at this hostel for four nights - 3 nights in a 4 bed room and 1 night in a much larger 4 bed with balcony room! The staff are very courteous and always ready to help out. The kitchens are huge with all amenities. What I really liked were the rooms for hanging your washed clothes as well as a drying room for your wet clothes! This place is really super user friendly. This place is about 10 to 15 minute walk from the city center and bus stops. I enjoyed my stay here!
